New Beginnings

Adopted Rotties

"Secondhand Rottweilers give first class love"

Marshall - Goofy Marshall is a year old.  His owners didn't have time for him anymore and didn't realize the dangers in advertising dogs on .com websites, SARR got involved and is committed to finding Marshall a great forever home.  Marshall is still a puppy at heart and learning lots about the world each day, with plenty of growing still to do.  He gets along well with the cats, dogs and toddler in his foster home.  Marshall has good house manners and is great off leash.  He can be a bit "tuggy" on the leash when heading out for a walk, but once reminded, settles down.  His foster home says he's a joy to have around and keeps them laughing with his silly antics.

We were thrilled when Marshall found his forever home with a loving family in Northern Alberta where he is the center of attention, well, almost, he has 2 Siamese feline siblings to share his big dog bed with!

Triton - Triton is a 6 year old neutered male who came to us when his time ran out at an Edmonton shelter.  Triton is a "talker" with a wonderful personality - he knows what he likes and let you know!  Triton asks for nothing more than a soft bed, lots of attention and LIVES for his daily walks.

Triton found his forever home in Yellowknife and is pleased for the "quieter" life.  His new family is very active and he's looking forward to ice fishing, hiking and swimming in the lakefront right behind his new home - way to go Triton!

Scout - Scout is a 4 year old female who was returned to SARR after living 2 years with a family, sadly their family was growing and the future didn't include her.  Her previous owners were killing her with kindness (food & treats), combined with not enough exercise, she has lost her girlish figure, and we're trying to help her find it again!  Scout's foster family is delighted to have her back as this gal is personality plus and a real love bug.  Scout is a pro at her Obedience commands and a real joy to have around their dogs, cats and young daughter.  Anyone interested in Scout had better have an active lifestyle, Scout is game for her daily walk PLUS as much time chasing a ball as you're willing to spend.

Scout was adopted by "Tazz" the Bull Mastiff, and his human guardians.  Tazz and Scout are still trying to figure out who owns all the dog toys in the house, including the Miss Kitty toy, but her new humans are loving her to bits.  Way to go Scout!
