About the Breed &
Why are Rotties Surrendered?
Jaida's family has been looking after Riley during her extended stay in Rescue whenever Riley's foster family went on vacation or business trips or for sleep-overs to help Riley get more confident and they have decided to make Riley a permanent member of the family. A big thank you to Darlene, Jaida and Ceili for giving Riley a wonderful forever home of her very own!
Aspen was adopted by the Sowerby family that nursed her back to health. Aspen will live out her days with her littermate "Jacey" that came through SARR 2 years ago, as well as SARR-brother "Hudson".

We were thrilled when Uta found her forever home, complete with a Shep cross sister to play the hours away with. Special thanks to the special staff at the South Peace SPCA that helped Uta make the long trek to Calgary so she could find a great family of her very own.
Vida, now called Carly, found her forever home with Chewy’s family and they are all looking forward to heading to the Island for a well-deserved vacation to enjoy each other’s company this Summer!
Mya found her forever home complete with big rottie brother "Duke" and a feline sibling. Duke and Mya are spending their spare time chasing each other around the big spruce tree in the back yard!!
Copper, now called Cooper, found his forever home in Northern Alberta with a lovely family complete with Rott-brother "Diego" to show him the ropes. Way to go Cooper!
